Proceeding from the second-order Hamiltonian operator with regard to the spin operators, the elementary regions and the 180 degrees transition zone between them were investigated for general ferromagnetic crystal lattices which have a magnetically preferred direction. The influence of linear homogeneous lattice deformation was taken into account, and formulas for the wall thickness and the wall energy were derived. It could also be generally shown that in massive monocrystals Bloch walls are preferred in comparison to Neel walls. In the course thereof it became possible to express the influence of each crystal lattice by means of the so-called ferromagnetic structure coefficient. Author
