Abstract:
Graphs are given for the determination of the upper and lower reliability confidence-limits as defined by the number of successes in a random sample test. The graphs are for sample sizes of 33 or less and any number of successes. Two reliability results can be read directly from the graphs the probability confidence that the reliability is at least pl and that it is at most pu. The number of successes required for a particular sample to meet stated reliability confidence levels can be read. The graphs can also be used in determining whether the sample falls within predetermined risk levels. Author
