Pagination or Media Count:
The relationship between fleet size, earliest failures, and the reliability of the population based on non-parametric methods and on extremal statistics is examined. The use of extreme observations in the reconstruction of the distribution of parent populations is discussed, and is illustrated with data from fatigue and impact tests. Author
