This research provides the first comprehensive study of the nature and variability of Integrated Boundary Layer Winds IBLWs, or implicitly boundary layer momentum. This information should be helpful for both theoretical and practical applications for example, boundary layer parameterization in general circulation models, air pollution models, and low-level parachuting operations.
