The objective of this research was to determine if there was conceptual similarity among leadership styles as measured by the results of the Ohio State University Leadership Opinion Questionnaire, the Modified Managerial Grid Questionnaire, and the Least Preferred Coworker Scale. The data for this study were produced by administering the three leadership style measurement instruments to each of 98 individuals in a selected population. A new hybrid statistic was developed here to measure the degree of association among the leadership styles recorded by each individual respondent. The development, use, and validity of the statistic is included in an appendix to this study. Modified author abstract
