Results are presented of a study to define an optics module for ROSCOE, comprising a Radar and Optical Systems Code for nuclear effects. The model is general enough to represent many types of optical sensors, such as air-, rocket-, and satellite-borne platforms. External factors such as target observables, optical path transmittance, stellar backgrounds, and earth limb radiance are considered in addition to nuclear effects.
