The study is concerned with the reliability and validity of supervisor ratings made on airmen in two career ladders, the Administration Specialist 702X070490 and the Aircraft Mechanic 431X143190. The purpose of the study was to determine if either overall performance ratings or trait ratings are predictive over a considerable lapse of time, preferably over an interval which would embrace a change in the airmans supervisor.
