Abstract:

The earliest moment of irreversible blister formation and of complete blister cleft formation in mans skin are graphically displayed by a new friction blister machine. The forces involved to produce the intraepidermal blisters are quantitated. The cost of parts and materials less the recorder is about 300.00. Approximately 200 hours for design, machining, and testing are required. Author
