The techniques uses to collect, organize, and evaluate the facts about a computer system and its environment and to draw conclusions which lead to a better system are collectively called computer performance evaluation. There are three general objectives of computer performance evaluation the selection of a particular system, the projection of the performance of an existing system, and the monitoring of the performance of an existing system.
