The Air Force Materials Laboratory, Ultrasonic Research Facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is investigating the use of ultrasonics as a tool for the nondestructive evaluation of aerospace materials. The development of a computerized data acquisition and processing system for the facilitys ultrasonic research is described in this paper. The system provides the capability to sample and record electrical representations of ultrasonic wave trains reflected from a material sample under test. Modified author abstract
