The use of immonodepressants of the cytostatic series before and after sensitization varies the anaphylactic reaction in guinea pigs. The use of the cytostatic agents simultaneously with the beginning of the sensitization inhibits serum anapylaxis. The amount of neuraminic acid in the blood serum can serve as the criterion indicating the degree of immunodepressive effect of the cytostatic agents on guinea pigs in an experiment. All immunodepressants intensified the development of the Arthus phenomenon.
