Abstract:

The patent describes a drum for multilayered coiling of cable made in the form of a cylinder with a helical groove and flanges. It is distinguished by the fact that, for the purpose of prevention of squeezing of the cable during transfer from one layer to another, the helical groove adjacent to the flange is made with a cuneiform shoulder, the height of which is equal to the level of the wound layer of cable.
