Abstract:

Continuous-time Markov processes whose phase space elements comprise a set of a large number of locally interacting components are examined. These components are assumed to be in one-to-one correspondence with the points of a discrete lattice in space. These processes are investigated via a transition to the limit case when the number of components is infinite.
