Abstract:
In many instances specific, unexpected problems or tasks arise in management which can be more effectively solved or accomplished by not attempting to utilize the formal organizational structure and established lines of coordination. If those problems or tasks are considered as specific missions or objectives, a properly formed task force may very well be the ideal instrument for the accomplishment of those objectives. The task force is formed to accomplish a defined objective and is dissolved when that objective has been attained. Author
