A program plan for evaluating berylliumtitanium composite materials with respect to method of manufacture, vo Be extrusion and forging reduction is presented. Coextruded BeTi powders, as well as coextruded Be rod with a wrought Ti matrix will be investigated. The most cost effective materialprocess will be fully characterized and design criteria properties determined for gas turbine fancompressor blades applications. Author
