Abstract:

The purpose of a time study of scientific workers is to find solutions which will facilitate a reorganization of labor and increase work efficiency. The usual method which is used to study the time spent on work by workers in scientific-research institutes, is a record of the working day made by the workers another possible method is the discreet observation method. More reliable data are obtained by the complex combined method, which combines data from both aforementioned methods. A proposed model makes it possible to work out an optimizing approach to the problem of selecting the sample size which is needed for the statistical study. Author
