Abstract:
Over the past decade, several techniques of dissipating warm fog, including heating, hygroscopic seeding, and helicopter downwash, have been proposed. Another method which involves the generation of an electric field through the fog has been suggested and tried in field experimentation. However, the mechanism responsible for visibility improvement, as a result of the electric field, is in question. Modified author abstract
