Abstract:

The Air Force civil engineering organization uses a management system based on objectives and performance indicators conceived by higher Headquarters. Many believe that these are not the true objectives and that the current system provides more information than can be used effectively. The purpose of this research effort was to determine the primary , and secondary organizational objectives, to determine what need to know information is required to monitor progress toward these objectives, and to determine how often these performance indicators need to be reviewed.
