Abstract:
It is evident that a detonation, in particular in compressible soils, casuses the formation both of straight, longitudinal circumferential and surface waves of various types this article is concerned with surface waves of a topographical type. The experimental part investigated was performed at the experimental detonation base of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR in loamy soils with a volumetric charge of 1.9 gsq cm and with natural moisture of 22-25 using a seismic apparatus the detectors VBP-III, VIB-A, VEGIK, and the N-700 oscillographs.
