Abstract:
A field project was conducted at San Diego, California, to investigate the structure of waves and radar echoes in the low-level marine inversion. A variety of data are presented to illustrate the dynamical processes at work in the surface layer and in the inversion above. Implications of these results for further studies of atmospheric waves and turbulence are discussed. Modified author abstract
