Abstract:
The feasibility of remotely sensing NO2 emissions from a single source was explored using a UV Correlation Spectrometer manufactured by Barringer Research Ltd., Toronto, Canada. Detections were made of a 2.5 ton truck exhaust at 200 meters range and a 30 KW diesel generator at 1050 meters range to demonstrate feasibility of detecting small sources of NO2.
