The program consisted of an investigation of the radar cross section and glint signature data of a BQM-34A target drone. The CP loss as measured by the difference in the median or mean RCS value obtained within a given angular sector was found to be highly variable for the case of small angular sectors and to be approximately 2 dB for the case of a large angular sector of 120 degrees centered about the nose of the vehicle. Glint data were obtained by using the discrete scatterer model developed by processing coherent short-pulse measurements data of the signature of a scale model BQM-34A. Additional glint data were obtained through use of the scattering matrix and RCS and phase measurements of an actual BQM-34A drone vehicle.
