Abstract:

The study was conducted for the purpose of presenting information which possibly could constructively be used in motivating Air Force personnel toward increasing their levels of job performance. Several proposals were offered to assist in this objective. Although the sample used in the analysis was confined to a small group of officers 117, the authors contended that the results obtained could possibly be applied to officers throughout the Air Force. To effectively increase job performance among Air Force officers, it was suggested that Air Force leaders place added emphasis on research or study within the areas of achievement, work itself, advancement, and supervision.
