It has been suggested that a non-symmetrical supply of secondary air to an ejector nozzle and consequent deflections of the primary jet could be used as a method of side vector control. Experimental support for this scheme has been sought however, it did not indicate that significant side forces could be achieved. The investigation aimed at the theoretical analysis and experimental verification of side vector forces produced in segmented short-shroud ejectors by controlled admission of secondary air.
