Abstract:
An oscillatory viscoelastometer was used to compare the rheological behavior of three composite propellants at low temperatures near their glass transition point. The efficiency of two surface-active agents has been established an aziridine polyester showed better adhesion properties between the oxidizer particles and the elastomeric binder than an amine polyester moreover, the two products combine to show synergism. The dynamic mechanical properties results and their effect on the interpretation of the mechanism of action of both compounds are discussed. Author
