A low aging piezoelectric ceramic composition was developed. The chosen composition had K 1200 and kP .47. Aging rates are 0.5, 0.1 and 0.2 per decade for K, fr, and kp respectively. At 4 KVcm RMS and 60 Hz, delta K was 17 and tan delta about 0.04. Total excursions of dielectric constant for 50 applications of 10 kpsi were -4 to 7.5. Fabrication procedures were chosen to be compatible with present manufacturing methods. Author
