A feasibility analysis of an acoustical holographic interferometric concept for the detection of flaws and voids in fiberglass composite pressure vessels had been conducted. Use of the principles developed to nondestructive testing techniques may aid in detecting interior flaws in composite structural components. The technique may aid in studying certain nonlinear problems of experimental mechanics and may aid in determining subsurface stress concentrations of significance in fracture analysis. L.B.-PL
