Abstract:
A common method of obtaining allergens from bacteria of the group of particularly dangerous infections and of certain representatives of the enteric family is suggested. The method consists in the extraction from microbial cells of alkali-soluble components, their precipitation with acid, dialysis and lyophilization. The protein part of the allergens mainly contained the fraction with a high molecular weight. Thermal treatment of certain allergens tularemic and typhoid was accompanied by the rupture of the bond in the protein molecule, and the separation of fractions with a lesser molecular weight some retained their specific activity.
