Abstract:

Results of experiments of actions by a coarsely dispersed aerosol on convective clouds of large vertical extent are given. Results indicate the effectiveness of powder-like reagents on thunderclouds, even in the stage of their stormy development when the rate of growth of the cloud vertex reaches 10 ms. Radar observations of results of the action also indicate the effectiveness of the powder-like reagents.
