Abstract:

The role of various processes in the population and disintegration of the excited levels of argon was analyzed. A positive method for the direct-current discharge in a tube was examined. Intensities of spectral lines caused by the system 3p5np n 4, 5, 6, 3p5ns n 6, 7, 8 and 3p5nd n 4, 5, 6, 7 were measured by comparing them to a standard source band-ignitor tube.
