Abstract:
Mixtures of polymer-cement-mortar and polymer-cement-concrete were formulated with 1 epoxy, polyester, and epoxy-acrylate resins 2 acrylic, vinylacetate, styrene-butadiene, and polyvinylidene chloride latices in varying proportions in relation to the weight of the cement. Both Type 3 Portland and Regulated Set Cements were used. Curing methods included low pressure steam, high pressure steam, dry heat, and ambient laboratory air. Compressive strength of concrete with and without polymers were studied. Modified author abstract
