The Russian patent describes a positive electrode for a chemical power source. It contains a catalyst made from manganese compounds in the form of a suspension in the electrolyte which is distinguished by the fact that the specified catalyst is made out of manganese dioxide mixed with a conducting hydrocarbon material eg. graphite the purpose being to shorten production.
