Abstract:

The objectives of this project are 1 to determine the extent of coastal influence in various meteorological conditions including the determination of the speed of response to the properties of surface air to the properties of the sea surface 2 to determine the effect of the feedback of energy from the oceans on the atmosphere and describe and quantitatively formulate the mesoscale processes on the atmosphere in coastal regions and 3 to determine how to use coastal meteorological and oceanographic observations for the analysis and prediction of coastal weather and the extent of oceanic conditions and anomalies offshore through the projection of coastal observations to offshore areas.
