Bacterial allergy was determined in 100 patients afflicted with recurrent aphthous stomatitis by means of skin-allergy tests and a response to microbe allergens in the form of leukocytosis. The authors observed an increased sensitivity to streptococcus 57, staphylococcus 49, E. Coli 47, proteus 63. In 79 of cases the leukocytolysis response coincided with the skin-test indices.
