Abstract:
An overview of the history and the known and potential psychological problems of helmet-mounted displays is followed by an extensive annotated bibliography of relevant material arranged by topics eye dominance, brightness disparity, helmet-mounted displayshelmet-mounted sights, retinal rivalry, and the AMD visually-coupled systems symposium of 1972. The bibliography annotations, which vary in length from one sentence to one-half of a page, describe the contents of the articles but do not evaluate them. Most of the bibliographic entries are not listed in previously published articles on helmet- mounted displays andor sights. Author
