Abstract:

Cutting of trenches in frozen soil can be performed by chain or rotor type continuous-operating excavators, in particular the ETR-132A rotory trench digger and the BTM-TMG-25 chain-type trench digger. In order to determine their qualities and efficiency, the Krasnoyarsk affiliate of the All Union Scientific Research Institute for Construction and Road Machinery, together with the Dmitrovskiy excavator plant, has studied these excavators at Glavkrasnoyarskstroy construction sites.
