Abstract:

The excited state spectra of uranyl ion in glass, Ho3 ion in single crystal CaWo4 and Cr acac 3 in an organic glass EPA have been observed and characterized in terms of lifetimes and adsorption regions. A new transition has also been observed in the spectrum of the Cr3 ion in corundum crystal ruby. Author
