Abstract:

The report describes improvements made by Federal Scientific Corporation in the optical data acquisition and analysis system at the Verona Test Annex of Rome Air Development Center. Two areas of improvement are discussed. The first of these, discussed in Section 2, deals with changes which were made in a hardware system which is used to pre-process optical data signals obtained from a telescope and its associated electronic instrumentation package. Section 3 of the report is concerned with modifications made in the FOCAL programming system which is used by RADC personnel for on-site analysis of data.
