Abstract:

A selenium ylide C6H52 SeC COCH32 was prepared and its structural parameters were determined by X-ray analysis. The C-Se C bond angles are 107.5 degrees and 105.0 degrees. The nmr spectra shows rotation about the Se C axis with a barrier of 8 Kcalmole. Author
