Pagination or Media Count:
An electromagnetic pulse simulator for animal studies has been built and operated at Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute since September 1972. The exposure volume consists of a terminated parallel-plate transmission line fed with a pulse the time dependent wave form of which can be approximated by a double exponential. Peak electric field strengths up to 500 kVm are available at a repetition rate up to 7 pps.
