Abstract:
The material in this report is intended to give both a general and detailed view of the Lincoln Laboratory SATIN system. The SATIN system is a computer-based acquisition and tracking system for infrared telescoped. The SATIN system represents a complex state-of-the-art system in computer control technology. The implementation of the system involves use of advanced analytical concepts for filter design as well as a structured approach to the design of a software system. The software system is a multi-level asynchronous interrupt-controlled system with software tasks arranged on hierarchical levels. Modified author abstract
