Abstract:

The report covers the period from 1 January to 30 June 1973, and describes the tasks of remote monitoring and field maintenance of NORSAR. The corrective maintenance of NORSAR during the first half of 1973 has been of limited extent. A preventive maintenance program for the SP seismograph amplifiers and the WHVs, and a couple of investigations to reduce the maintenance load of certain channel units, were initiated in the period. In general, the different parts of the array field instrumentation have been stable and operated satisfactorily.
