Pagination or Media Count:
The adsorption characteristics of n-fatty acids during their adsorption on silica gels from n-heptane solutions was studied, and compared with results using carbon tetrachloride and benzene. Results of the investigation show that the distribution of the adsorption isotherms is in accordance with the inverse Traube rule. The amount of adsorption under otherwise like conditions depends on the nature of the solvent.
