Abstract:
Determining the velocity of turbulent nonisothermal fluxes of gases and liquids by the hot-wire anemometer involves perfecting the methods of temperature compensation and the development of new designs for hot-wire anemometric sensors. The problem of eliminating errors caused by the temperature turbulence of the flow is still unsolved. A new method is proposed for temperature compensation directly in the studied zone of the flow, based on the use of a two-terminal thermoelectric sensor of a hot-wire anemometer.
