The GCe3 value of a 1 millimolar solution of ceric sulfate in a 100 millimolar solution of cupric sulfate in 0.4 molar H2SO4 was investigated. This quantity was measured for radiation of varying quality. The radiation sources included protons, alpha particles and cobalt-60 gamma rays. The cericcupric solution was found to be sensitive to impurities, but in general could be managed. Results indicate that all glass systems are necessary for best results. Modified author abstract
