Pagination or Media Count:
The problem the author considers consists in the study of the motion of a viscous incompressible fluid in a tube with deformable and permeable wall this problem is, for instance, encountered in the investigation of the flow of blood in artificial arteries. The two-dimensional case is studied, i.e. the plane flow of the fluid, since all the results given refer to this case and cannot be extended directly to flows in three or more dimensions. In order, moreover, to avoid formal complications, the problem is as much implied as possible, although the results obtained hold also for more general cases.
