Limited compounding and processing studies for these materials are described. In an effort to alter vulcanizate properties, two elastomeric terpolymers, one containing H2CCHC2H4OxPN and the other containing CH3CHOHC2H4OxPN, were prepared and two different synthetic routes were employed. Several process studies and exploratory syntheses were undertaken. The influence of water on the formation of CF3CH2O2PN-HCF2C3F6CH2O2PNn was investigated. The formation of this polymer by sequential addition of the fluoroalkoxides to the Cl2PNn solution also was studied. A CF3CHFCF2CH2O2PNn plastic and a CF3CH2O2PN-CF3CHFCF2CH2O2PNn elastomer were prepared. Modified author abstract
