The memorandum discusses two interaction problems The inviscid transonic flow over a body with a supersonic underexpanded exhaust plume and the viscous subsonic-transonic flow in the vicinity of a boattailsting. Numerical solutions are obtained using a relaxation procedure for the inviscid transonic flow, a supersonic marching technique for the jet flow field, and Bradshaws method for the turbulent boundary layer. The interaction is handled iteratively. Several preliminary numerical results are presented. Author
