Abstract:

A numerical solution procedure is derived for one-dimensional stationary real gas flow across a normal shock wave and in the wake of this wave. The following phenomena are taken into account Non-equilibrium chemical reactions between diatomic and atomic species non-equilibrium of the innermolecular energies of rotation and of vibration transport of momentum, mass, and energy due to viscosity, thermal conductivity, mass diffusivity, and thermal diffusivity.
