Research on two techniques is very briefly explored to study the simple encoding of signals. 1 A low-noise feedback channel was used to improve the performance of an analog communications scheme in the presence of additive noise in the forward path. 2 Quantization of monotone functions in one dimension and in many dimensions were explored and previous results were extended.
